Sophie Lehrenbaum

Sophie is a second-year MALD student focusing on international environmental policy. Prior to Fletcher, Sophie worked as a strategy consultant in Deloitte's Government and Public Services practice. She graduated from Tufts University in 2018 with degrees in International Relations and Environmental Studies.

May Dittel

Chief Operating Officer

May is a second-year MIB student concentrating in International Banking and Finance and Maritime Studies. Before coming to Fletcher, she worked as an Immigration Paralegal at a boutique law firm in New York City. She completed her undergraduate studies in the dual bachelor's program between Sciences Po Paris and Columbia University in May 2022, majoring in Political Science and Human Rights, respectively.

Sreedevi Nair

Sreedevi is a second-year MALD student focusing on international development and environmental policy. Prior to Fletcher, she worked as a legal researcher and consultant at the Enfold Trust in Bangalore, India. She graduated from the National Law School of India University, with a bachelor's degree in law.

 

Alex Wolfe

Alex is a second-year MALD student studying political economy and East Asia. Alex earned his bachelor's degree at Duquesne University, and taught English, debate, and history as a Fulbright Scholar in Taiwan and Adjunct Professor at Duquesne University before attending Fletcher.

 
 
 

 
 

Kyle Fields

Kyle is a second-year MALD student focusing on International Economic Relations, Human Security, and Humanitarian Affairs. Prior to Fletcher, he worked for the Homeless Services Bureau of the Boston Public Health Commission and as an immigration paralegal at Jackson Lewis. He earned his bachelor's degree from Trinity College, Hartford, with a double-major in Hispanic Studies and International Relations, and a minor in Music.

Sitara Srinivas

Sitara is a first-year MALD student, focusing on International Security. Prior to Fletcher, she worked as a Junior Fellow at the Observer Research Foundation, focusing on soft power and the WPS agenda. Sitara holds a bachelor's degree in Political Science and a post-graduate diploma in Conflict Transformation and Peacebuilding, both from the the University of Delhi.

 

Lorenzo Boni Beadle

Lorenzo is a first-year MALD student focusing on political economy. Before Fletcher, he served as a Community Economic Development volunteer for Peace Corps Colombia where he served as co-founder and co-head editor of the volunteer periodical. He graduated from Tufts University with a double-major in Political Science and Economics.

 

Maeve Lilian Murphy

Maeve is a first year MALD candidate focusing on human security. Before Fletcher she worked at an education nonprofit. She studied security policy and international affairs at George Washington University where she graduated with honors, and is interested in the intersecting spaces of identity, history, education and politics.

 

Noga Halevi

A former intelligence analyst, Noga has experience in defense, diplomacy, and policy, including roles at the UN, in Israeli parliament, and in consulting for defense and energy sectors. Noga recently served as an officer in Israel’s Hostage Crisis Negotiation Command. Currently pursuing a master’s at The Fletcher School, she holds prior degrees in Government (BA) and Philosophy (MA).

 

Hsuan (Ashley) Lo

Ashley is a first-year MIB:QM student focusing on business and geopolitics in East Asia. Before Fletcher, she was a journalist in Taipei for three years covering hospitality and retail. Ashley earned her bachelor's degree in English literature at the University of Notre Dame.

 

Maya Spalding-Fecher

Maya is a first-year MALD student focusing on International Development & Environmental Policy and International Business. Prior to Fletcher, Maya worked as a project manager at an energy company that designed and implemented large-scale retrofit projects to increase energy efficiency and resiliency in the built environment. She graduated from Williams College in 2021 with degrees in Environmental Studies and Art History.

 
 

Katherine Walsh

Katherine is a first-year MALD student studying International Business and Negotiation. Katherine earned her bachelor's degree in economics at Marquette University, and prior to Fletcher was a Financial Analyst for a Technology Consulting firm in Washington, D.C.

 
 

Veeradittya Podder

Veer is a first-year MIB:QM student focusing on Finance & Technology. Prior to Fletcher, he worked in Quantum Cybersecurity research in India. He graduated from St. Stephen’s College, University of Delhi with a bachelor’s degree in physics & mathematics.

 

Vidhi Rupal

Vidhi is a second-year Law and Diplomacy student with a focus on International Business and Legal Studies. She graduated from the University of Bath with a major in Politics and International Relations and a diploma in International Trade. Before coming to Fletcher, she worked in the area of research, consulting, and in the development sector in India, where she spearheaded various programs focusing on climate change and financial inclusion.

Matthew is a first-year MALD student focusing on the environment and international institutions. Prior to Fletcher, he worked for the American Society of Landscape Architects on climate and conservation policy. He earned his bachelor's degree from the University of Florida.

Tashi Dorji

Tashi is a first year MALD student with interest in areas of negotiations, conflict resolution, gender, technology, and public policy. Prior to Fletcher, he worked at the United Nations Resident Coordinator’s Office (UNRCO) in Bhutan from 2020 to 2024, gaining experience in international development, coordination, communications, and operations. Tashi completed his bachelor’s degree at the Royal Thimphu College under the Royal University of Bhutan in 2019.

Kellie Peitersen-Sullivan

Kellie is a first-year MALD student focusing on human security and comparative regional studies. She is a dual citizen of Denmark and the US with an avid interest in international humanitarian conflict and crises. Prior to joining Fletcher, she obtained her BS from Florida International University before living abroad in Southeast Asia and Northern Europe to explore regional issues and differences in human security.

 

Grace Kikta

Grace is a candidate for the Master of Arts in Law and Diplomacy 2025, focusing on international security, international negotiation, and conflict resolution. She holds a BS degree inInternational Business from Northeastern University. Prior to attending Fletcher, she worked in diverse roles focusing on topics related to global health, humanitarian crises, and transitional justice in the context of armed conflict. Her work spans diverse countries in Sub-Saharan and Sahel Africa, Eastern Europe, Afghanistan, and Southeast Asia. As a Department of State Pickering Fellow, she will enter the U.S. Foreign Service in September 2025.

Frizia Rounak

Frizia is a second-year MALD student specializing in International Information and Communication, with a focus on digital rights and inclusion. She studies the role of AI in enhancing access to information, safeguarding digital freedoms, and promoting inclusivity in the digital realm. Prior to Fletcher, she worked with the Permanent Mission of Afghanistan to the UN and other organizations as a human rights and communications intern where she helped in drafting policy briefs and official statements for several sessions of the Human Rights Council. Frizia holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Relations from the Geneva School of Diplomacy and International Affairs.

Ningyuan Jia

NJ is a first year MALD student focusing on international security and cyber security. Before coming to Fletcher, he was interning in the IT industry and the advertising industry. He earned both his Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and Bachelor of Science in Media Culture & Communication from New York University.

Benson Ninan

Benson is a first-year MALD student who is a software engineer with experience in technology, complemented by work across various governments, think tanks, and private sector organizations in Asia. Benson’s diverse experience spans diplomacy, policy, and software development. Benson enjoys playing sports, trekking, traveling, and is always keen to learn new things and embrace new challenges.

Shivani Shivani

Shivani is a first-year MALD student focusing on International Development, Human Security, and Humanitarian Affairs. Before joining Fletcher, she worked as a Credit Risk Associate at JPMorgan Chase & Co. She holds a bachelor's degree in Economics from Panjab University and a Post Graduate Diploma in Management (Finance) from the Great Lakes Institute of Management.

Armaan Mathur

Armaan is a first-year MALD student at The Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree (Honours) in Political Science from Delhi University. Before Fletcher, Armaan was working with an Indian Member of Parliament, and had a brief stint with Pratham Education Foundation. His interests include Indian foreign policy and diplomacy, history, politics, culture, and technology. His co-authored book chapter was recently published in a Routledge anthology, and he has previously written for The Diplomat, The Hindu, New Indian Express, Deccan Herald, and India Forum, among others.

Lauren Davis

Lauren is a first-year MALD student interested in focusing on International Legal Studies and International Conflict Resolution. Prior to Fletcher, Lauren worked at The Right to Immigration Institute managing humanitarian immigration cases in the Boston area. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Brandeis University in 2023 with a major in Politics and a minor in Hispanic Studies.

 
 

Michael Kleinlercher

Michael is a first-year MALD student focusing on International Security, and International Information and Technology. He earned his bachelor’s degree at SUNY Geneseo in International Relations and History. Prior to enrolling at Fletcher, Michael taught English in northern Japan on the JET Program for two years.

 

Joaquin Martinez Albanv

Originally from Ecuador, Joaquin is a first-year MIB student focusing on international energy policy. He has experience in the construction and mining sectors. Latin American literature, sailing, and soccer are Joaquin’s favorite hobbies.

 

Syed Imran Hossain

Imran is a first-year GBA student focusing on decolonization, eco-socialism, and human rights. Over the past 15 years, he has worked across the realms of healthcare, education, and social justice. Imran earned his B.A. in International Relations from the University of Southern California and is currently based in Los Angeles.

 

Hamed Al Ghaithi

At Fletcher, Hamed concentrates on international security, strategic decision-making and international business. Hamed has a background in evolutionary genetics and is a professional translator working with several international firms, and he has published several books in Arabic.

 
 

Marlene Dietrich

Marlene Dietrich a second year dual-degree student of International Affairs and Law & Diplomacy with a focus on peace- and conflict-studies. With professional experience ranging from lobbying and diplomatic service to research and teaching, Marlene integrates knowledge from different fields in her work. Marlene combines her academic expertise with a commitment to ensuring every voice is heard, fueled by her background as a former kindergarten teacher and her passion for fostering dialogue and understanding.

Krishna Priya Vangala

Krishna Priya (KP) is a first year MALD candidate at the Fletcher School with an interest in climate action and governance. Before Fletcher, she worked in the public policy space in India and has an undergraduate degree in law from NALSAR University of Law, Hyderabad, India.

 

Igor Tiam

Igor is a second-year MATA student focusing on technology, AI, disinformation, and their implications for democracy. He holds a master’s degree in European Affairs from Sciences Po Toulouse and previously interned at the European American Chamber of Commerce in Paris, where he developed social media campaigns and coordinated high-level events. Igor also has experience in press relations, public affairs, and graphic design.
